Wes is a visual guy isn’t he? The soft muted spring colours pleasantly washed over me as we watched Moonrise Kingdom the
other evening as it poured down outside in Manchester. It’s the beginning of
June so the colour and weather content of the film were quite fitting for up
here in the North.
As my cinema buddy quite aptly put it, it was a children’s film made for adults.
